The words strongly resemble those of Salahuddin al-Ayubi, who fought against the Crusaders during Richard the Lionheart's reign, upon persuasion of the Arabs of Jerusalem who begged him to take hold of al-Quds (I recommend
Saladin and the Crusades to anyone keen on learning more - the movie is pretty corny, but quite good).
